VECOSOL APPRETTO 1479 is a medium-soft PU top coat, especially developed for the fixation of upholstery leathers. It could also be used in protein finishings of shoe-upper leathers and leather goods, if added in a range of 20-40%.
VECOSOL APPRETTO 1479 gives an excellent shiny effect keeping a good grade of black.
The film is elastic and tenacious with an optimal resistance to hydrolysis and to physical tests which can be improved further on by crosslinking the product with polyaziridine or isocyanate. We suggest the following concentrations for crosslinking: 1% if polyaziridine is used; from 1 to 3% with isocyanate.
VECOSOL APPRETTO 1479 has to be applied by roller coater.
