Our company has got a wide product range for auxiliary chemical products that include penetrating agents such as the VECOSOL PENETRANTE TB which promotes penetration and uniform distribution, acrylic and polyurethane impregnation resins on buffed and full grain leather act with a stiffening action on the grain.
We have also developed a range of thickening agents such as VECOSOL TIXOFLUID 1081, VECOSOL TIXOFLUID 1133 and VECOSOL TIXOFLUID 294/C, a universal thickening agent designed specifically for water based polyurethane mixtures and that is not sensitive to pH.
The chemicals also comprise an organic solvent based waterproofing agent called VECOPHOB 1486, which is suitable for adjusting and shearing leather finishing without affecting the color of crust dyeing.
Why use auxiliary chemicals?
The penetrating auxiliaries help increase the speed of penetration on any type of leather, the impressive thing is that they can do so even in small quantities, thus responding to different needs of the tanneries. Thickening agents help increase the leveling of the applied mixture, while cross linking agents help increase the dry and wet rub fastness and the amount of adhesion between the coating layers. Waterproofing agents ensure effective leather finishing, and other auxiliary chemicals help in the tanning process of several types of leather hides.
